The Fitzroy Workers Camp continues to provide safe and affordable accommodation for all workers travelling to and through the Fitzroy valley area. Due to the camps location in the heart of Fitzroy Crossing businesses can utilise the Workers Camp as a base, allowing workers to travel less and offer more services to all local Fitzroy valley people, communities, and businesses. The camp offers 36 air-conditioned rooms with an additional 14 units allocated to Marra Worra Worra staff all within a secure complex with 24hr access.
All rooms have an ensuite attached with shower, and there are communal kitchen and laundry facilities available. Four good sized BBQ areas are located throughout the complex and these areas have been equipped with appliances, cutlery, plates, available for use. The Fitzroy workers Camp is a much needed business in the Fitzroy valley area due to the lack of short-term rental housing available and offers a cheaper accommodation option for workers while providing a sustainable revenue.
