Mingalkala is a small communities established by Stanley Till and is located about a one hour drive east of Fitzroy Crossing on Gooniyandi country.
Established in the mid nineties, Mingalkala community was excised from the Mt Pierre Pastoral lease.
Mingalkala now has a renewable energy system with solar panels installed. Prior to this they relied on a diesel generator to supply power to the community.
Our communities are alive and full of stories about how they came to be and why that place in country is important for health and culture.
